The University is a part of SRH – an education and health company which has been guiding people on their educational path for over 50 years. Each person learns differently. Their task is therefore to support each individual in the best possible way to create the conditions for a successful life.
Diverse together
Five schools in three cities: Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. The faculty, staff and students come from over 90 nations across 70 accredited German and English language study programmes in the fields of new management and entrepreneurship, media and creative industries, technology and IT, music, design, film and text.

SRH support you personally and continuously in achieving your goals. Based on their proven CORE principle, they have aligned all learning objectives, forms of examination, teaching and learning methods for you, in order to make learning as fun and successful as possible.
At SRH you learn step by step
The University believes that sustainable learning is only possible if there is enough space for experimentation, games and critical thinking. That is why they have completely restructured the classical course of studies.
- You will work on practical tasks in small teams over 5-week blocks
Instead of losing the overview in between lots of subjects, you completely draw your attention to a maximum of two subjects that are taught in parallel during a block of 5 weeks. - You will then take an exam on the subject matter of the previous weeks
Due to the time frame of their study model, you will no longer have to deal with crowded exam weeks. With a large pool of possible examination forms (from the typical exam up to a learning diary) you can demonstrate your skills in the way that is the most well-suited to the competences that are relevant for the subject in question. - You will receive continuous performance feedback throughout your entire studies
SRH guides you on a professional, personal and organisational level throughout your studies. From the first day onwards, you will have qualified mentors by your side. In addition, you will get individual coaching and competent advice from our Career Service. - You will receive all-round support from your lecturers
SRH do not practice pure frontal teaching only. Instead, their teachers will become individual coaches for you. You will not only acquire expertise and methods but also improve your personal and social competences on a regular basis. - You will have time to deepen your knowledge in between each block, to retake exams or to gain practical experience

Learning at eye level
Pure frontal teaching does not exist in their classrooms. Instead, their instructors become individual learning coaches for you. Together, you will not only acquire specialist knowledge, but also hone your soft and hard skills. In order to achieve this, SRH rely on direct communication.
No fear of making mistakes
Trying out is allowed! Even welcomed, since SRH rely on experience-based learning. It’s not always about right or wrong, above all it’s about trying things out and getting to know each other. At SRH, you don’t study for the professor or the examinations office, but primarily for your own projects and your whole (professional) life.
Learning for the real world
You don’t have to do countless internships after you graduate. Practical teamwork on real projects with partners from the real world will prepare you optimally for the professional world. At the same time, you will develop social skills such as the ability to accept criticism, to think outside the box and to solve problems creatively. These are exactly the skills that employers expect from their employees today.
In addition, you will not only have a certificate in your hand, but also project references from real world partners, that you can provide alongside your job applications. AND: you’ll know where your personal strengths lie.

Wild Studies
Do you want even more flexibility? Why not “study wild”? SRH Berlin is the only university in Germany that offers an extracurricular Wild Studies semester, in which you can put together your own individual timetable and study “outside the box”. The only requirement: you have to apply for it. The best part: you only pay a low, one-off fee instead of your regular monthly fees!

SRH believes in an education that is directly related to the work you will do after you graduate. That is why they are committed to competence-oriented and project-based teaching.
You will study and research with SRH on real projects with practical partners from the fields of business, culture, politics and society. Certified and approved!
SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences offers you an excellent and internationally recognised course of study. The university is accredited by the state and other institutions. It is also internationally affiliated and has been awarded for excellent learning methods.
Institutionally reaccredited for 10 years
Since the merger of the three already state-accredited Berlin SRH Universities and the Dresden campus to form the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in October 2019, the maximum institutional reaccreditation of 10 years now applies to the entire newly founded university. The reaccreditation is equivalent to the quality seal of the former SRH University of Applied Sciences Berlin – now Berlin School of Management and Berlin School of Technology – which had already been obtained in 2015.
System accredited university – guarantee for the highest quality
SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences has been system accredited since the 1st of October, 2019 and bears the quality seal of the Accreditation Council. This certifies that the university meets the highest standards in teaching and learning –students have the guarantee that planning, teaching and evaluation are carried out according to certified processes.
As a system accredited university, SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences is entitled to accredit its study programmes independently and with the audited QM processes. This procedure replaces the previously customary programme accreditation.
Award for our teaching and learning model CORE
In 2018, the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and VolkswagenStiftung honoured the CORE teaching and learning model with the Genius Loci Award, the only institutional award for excellent teaching in Germany.
In 2012, SRH created the CORE principle (Competence Oriented Research and Education), a unique teaching and learning model based on scientific findings from learning and brain research: students work on a topic for five weeks – independently and in small groups, coached by lecturers. At the end of this period, they are tested to see whether they can apply the skills they have learned: for example, in the form of fictitious company meetings, presentations or exhibition concepts.
Premium Seal for the Master in International Management
The Master in International Management has received the FIBAA Premium Seal, which is awarded to outstanding programmes that clearly exceed the quality requirements of the FIBAA.
Among other things, the international student body, the global orientation of the programme, the integration into practice and the good student support were emphasised.
The programme is therefore one of the TOP 10 of all accredited master’s programmes in Germany.
Regular top results in the CHE Ranking
The University has received very good results in the CHE university ranking several times. Most recently, for example, they received very good results for our international orientation (10/12) and their high graduation rate (98.5% in the appropriate time) of their Master‘s programmes.
